Camp Ground Rules

are not allowed in any of the buildings or cabins. They
are allowed in your RV or tent, but when out must be
kept on a leash and cleaned up after.
Alcoholic
beverages should be consumed responsibly, and only in your own campsite.
Smoking is not allowed in any building: Store,
Bathhouse, Laundry, or Cabins. Please
dispose of your butts in an appropriate container (ash
tray). Every butt dropped on the ground we must
pick up!
Fire Rings
are for firewood.
Food scraps, butts,
plastic, aluminum cans, bread ties etc. do not
belong.
Trash should be
disposed of in the Dumpster provided at the far end
of the turn around.

Water and
Septic equipment (hoses, connections, etc.)
must be in good working order. Leaking equipment is not permitted. The sewer connection should
either screw in or have an odor tight
seal. Do not jam your sewer hose all the way
down into the inlet. It will stop the flow
from other sites.
- Children
should be supervised and taught to respect all
living plants and animals in the campground. Use
caution as Whispering Pines Road is a County Road.
- Trees
should not be cut down or injured (including nails).
Please do not dig up any kind of vegetation.

Fishing is allowed in Hemptown Creek.
The Chattahoochee National Forest fish hatchery
stocks the stream with brown or rainbow trout about
every two weeks. Georgia law requires that you have
a fishing license and trout stamp. A license
can be obtained at the tackle store on the corner of
Hwy 60 and Hwy 76/515.

Swimming is
included for all registered campers. Visitors
of campers will be required to pay for swimming
privileges. All children 13 or under must be
accompanied by an adult while in the pool area.
Please follow all of the swimming pool rules which
are posted.
