How to find Whispering Pines Campground

From Atlanta (South):

Take I-75 North to I-575 North. I-575 becomes the Appalachian Highway 515/76. Follow the highway through Blue Ridge, Georgia. Go 8 ½ miles past Blue Ridge and turn right on Whispering Pines Road, just past the 13 mile marker.

From Blairsville (East):

Take the Appalachian Highway 76/515 West. After you cross into Fannin County, soon after mile marker 14, turn left on Whispering Pines Road.

From Ducktown (North):

At the intersection of 64/74 and 68 South, take 68 South to Copperhill. When you cross into Georgia Highway 68 becomes Highway 60. You can take 60 South or Highway 5 which is a little straighter road. In either case turn left (East) when you reach Highway 76/515. After mile marker 13 turn right at the next intersection on Whispering Pines Road.

We are just off 76/515 (a 4 lane highway). Some people get directions on old 76. You can not bring an RV in that way. Some get directions to another Whispering Pines Road off Aska Road (yes there are 2). If your directions tell you to take a 2 lane road, STOP and call us!
